Darktrace AI Used to Protect Military Personnel Data
Darktrace, the world’s leading AI company for cyber defense has today announced that the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), the largest charity providing welfare support to members of the Royal Air Forces, has selected Darktrace’s cyber AI to protect its members’ sensitive data from insider threat and sophisticated attacks.
Trusted with the personally identifiable information of over 72,000, former and current members of the Royal Air Forces Association, the association sought a security tool that could protect this sensitive data from stealthy attackers as well as insider threats. By deploying Darktrace’s AI, the Royal Air Force Association benefits from a self-learning technology that identifies threats that bypass traditional security tools.
Beyond financial loss and reputational damage, if our members’ data got into the wrong hands, there could be implications for national security” commented Darren Bisbey, Head of ICT Infrastructure and Cyber Security at the RAFA. “Darktrace’s AI immune system is key to defense in today’s world of escalating cyber threat.”
