Darktrace Self-Learning Detection Extended to SaaS Applications
Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has today announced that it has extended the coverage of its self-learning technology to SaaS applications, including Salesforce.com.
As organizations increasingly embrace cloud applications, significant blind spots have developed, with critical data and user interactions falling out of sight. Darktrace’s new SaaS connectors for Salesforce.com, Box, and Office 365 extend its visibility into critical, yet previously-unmonitored areas of the infrastructure, which may now benefit from the self-learning capability of Darktrace’s core Enterprise Immune System technology, based on machine learning and mathematics developed at the University of Cambridge.
Darktrace SaaS connectors immediately enhance Darktrace’s visibility, with rich data such as user logins, data transfers and downloads, and updates, allowing suspicious behaviors or abnormal activity – whether via a home network, or public WiFi – to be detected in real time.
メリット
- Complete visibility of user interactions within SaaS applications
- Easy install – less than an hour
- Early-stage threat detection
- Includes Salesforce.com, Box, Google Apps, Dropbox, and Microsoft Office 365
“It is no longer viable for SaaS applications to remain a blind spot to security operators, given the richness of data and the scope for threats to propagate,” said Nicole Eagan, CEO, Darktrace. “This is a big step forward- our customers can embrace all the flexibility that SaaS offers, while understanding and safeguarding those systems using our self-learning technology.”
