Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has won two categories in the Frost & Sullivan APAC ICT Awards 2016, a further endorsement of the company’s unique ‘immune system’ approach to cyber threats.

Darktrace has been named ‘Emerging Cyber Security Technology Vendor of the Year’ for its demonstration of growth and strong performance in APAC in 2015 and has won the ‘Industrial Control Systems Security Technology Innovation Leadership’ accolade for its innovation in solving security problems. With more than 1,000 deployments across the world, Darktrace’s unique self-learning technology has detected more than 8,000 cyber incidents to date.

“APAC has experienced explosive growth in infocomm technologies in recent years, spurred by increased connectivity and the ubiquitous use of mobile devices. However, this shift underscores the importance of cybersecurity for enterprises as it has created more end-points for threat actors – making it humanly impossible to detect all cyber-attacks in good time,” said Sanjay Aurora, Managing Director of APAC, Darktrace. “Our Enterprise Immune System addresses this complex threat landscape, using self-learning technology to understand the patterns in an organisation, and identifies abnormal behaviours that go unnoticed by legacy technologies.”

Now in its 13th year, the Frost and Sullivan APAC ICT awards recognize organisations that demonstrate outstanding performance, technological leadership and strategic product development in the APAC infocommunications technology landscape.

A distinguished panel of judges comprising senior technology executives as well as Frost & Sullivan analysts decide the winners in a process that involves benchmarking market participants and performance through in-depth analysis and secondary research.
